      That's something known.

      And you can't so anything.

      Stamina is something genetic

Haha that and considering that GGG virtually didn't even focus on the body.

He gasses for the same reason Cotto used to gas....throws only big shots and doesn't tie up and rest inside. Thurman has the same problem.

GGG didn't focus on the body because he was wary of the hot stuff coming back up top. Canelo counters were on point last night.

He's always had bad stamina, some guys just do. I think with some guys they can train for stamina as much as possible and maybe improve it but never really get it to a great standard, it's just the way their body is. Same as anything else really. You can probably train to punch harder or improve speed ever so slightly, but you cannot train those things be something you are not.

Everyones body has limitations, just in different ways.

I scored it for Canelo, but I was really impressed with gGG's stamina. He was relentless.

                  imagine Canelo's stamina at 35...

I actually felt his stamina improved with the weight gain, even just going to 155 (like the Lara performance comes to mind). He looked solid versus Chavez Jr. but Chavez didn't apply any mental or physical pressure. Versus G, I think the pressure had something to do with it - it was a factor of both Golovin and Canelo's mediocre stamina on display again. Good thing for Canelo, Golovkin was content on head hunting.

Same with Valdez, he also doesn't know how to slow down the pace and is always throwing hard shots and is constantly moving.

I don't like Hopkins style, but he is an expert in slowing down the pace and preserving his energy.
