Compubox is a tool that can help when doing a postmortem on a fight.

It is not the end all be all, just one factor in many.

There are definitely things both of last night's fighters can point to from these stats

I rarely take notice of the numbers. I've always pooled them in with debates about 'fight night weights' etc. People use them when it suits, and dismiss when it doesn't.

I don't even know what the numbers were last night. I just watch the fight and score it how i see it. But i suppose they can be helpful in part.

I can't find the link, but i remember an article (Ring i think) that was online after the Pacquiao - Horn fight that said for a high percentage of fights, the guys doing compubox are not even ringside. They sometimes do it while watching a tv monitor.

Compubox seems like a tool used for pushing an agenda as well as the commentators, the two go hand in hand to push whatever narrative HBO wants.

          id say its 75% accurate.

it does show the best boxers have a better connect to defence record.
