But there are very few women judges in the sport; now a pattern is starting to develop.

Yes, Byrd and Lederman have produced decent scorecards in the past ... But still better way to put it.. when a women judge is OFF , they tend to be way off.
My point is that if you're gonna buy a judge it's better to buy a female one cos male fans are more likely to blame the result on 'female incompetence' than corruption. That's how I'd do it anyways and I don't think I've got a particularly slippery mind.

      Byrd with 1118-110 for Canelo.

Absurd. Women judges can't be trusted. They can't be fully logical. They will go sometimes with who they subconsciously would like to f#^k. OR who they prefer

      There I said it
I completely agree, Byrd needs to be fired after pulling a stunt like this. Both fighters performed amazingly and I had extreme enjoyment and anticipation watching this fight. I had Golovkin winning by a decent; but not exaggerated margin (I gave round 1 and rounds 4-10 to GGG, round 11 could go either way for me). I can excuse the judge who scored it 114-114, that's not unreasonable, I agree with the 115-113 for GGG, but 118-110 EITHER WAY is absolute nonsense, even if it had gone towards GGG (Who I was rooting for) I would have called BS. This was an amazing fight that was completely overshadowed and marred by an incompetent idiot that somehow still has her job. Under different circumstances (AKA, a reasonable scorecard that favored Canelo, not this 118-110 BS), I would have been okay with a draw, a little miffed, but again it WAS a very close fight and a draw isn't unreasonable. But to say it was a draw because of a 118-110 card is nonsense.

Terrible Thread. Men are responsible for 99.999999% of all crappy decisions in boxing.

Well in her defense Canelo did have the prettier color trunks last night. I mean GGG had that sick bird sh^t color trunks that just didn't pop right for me.

There's no point of blaming women when male judges have been making terrible scores for the last 50 years

Byrd was the only one that scored this vs Abril right. What about the guys from Lara vs Williams that got suspended and the hundreds of other robberies that have taken place

I don't think they are bought.. just incompetence... there is subconscious bias getting in the way. The women may be subconsciously attracted to a particular boxer and that affects how they perceive the fight.

Like I said, when women judges are off..they seem to be WAY Off.

                    Not that terrible.
Most judges are male. Of course male judges will have more bad scorecards in absolute numbers.

But you need to look at the percentage of bad scorecards. While I don't have real numbers on hand, the amount of times women produced so many bad scorecards is rather high, considering there are only a small number of female judges working.

Women think with their emotions. They tend to favor the younger, better-looking boxer.
