Comments Thread For: Canelo: I Won at Least 7 or 8 Rounds, I Even Wobbled Golovkin!

Canelo had the tools to really put a draw, maybe win, he shoulda backed GGG a bit more but dude wanted to avoid a ko loss at all cost and did gass each round after 4 punches landed.
Call me crazy bro, but I thought Nelo barely won 3 rounds.
He was always loosing in the jab department wich arguably makes GGG competitive in each round of the whole fight.
I don't even believe Nelo won the 12th rewatching it.Comment

Most rounds were like watching 2 different rounds. Saul would come out hard for 60 secs, and like you said, would gas by time 4 hits landed. Like the first few moments of 12, I was like, Damn son, why haven't you done that all night?Canelo had the tools to really put a draw, maybe win, he shoulda backed GGG a bit more but dude wanted to avoid a ko loss at all cost and did gass each round after 4 punches landed.

I didn't keep a card, but it was 8-4, maybe 7-5 to me (giving Alvarez close rounds)Comment

I was shocked too. But I shouldn't be, mist Mexicans I know are honorable.
No he didn't, he got outboxed to the point that even his own fans thought he lost. You named a lot of spectators, unfortunately none of them were assigned to be judge tonight. Canelo can take the rematch or not. He's already proven that his skills are superior to Golovkin's, and GGG is not getting any younger. Canelo will win the eventual rematch, and his performance will be even more decisive than it was tonight. You're right, though, the bitterness from GGG fanboys IS pathetic.
What Canelo proved is he can fight in spurts, but can't for 3 whole minutes.Comment
