It depends if KOing Morales or Castillo is the bigger feat. That determines who hits the hardest p4p. Corrales probably wins this one because like RWK said, he had enough power to take Castillo out who had hardly been hurt in a fight.

Like I always seem to be saying, I'm a huge Hatton fan but he's no where near the hardest p4p puncher on the planet. Just ask John Thaxton. Hatton wears people down but doesnt punch THAT hard. The hardest p4p puncher is either Coralles or Darchinyan

Hatton has never been the hardest lb4lb puncher, no.

If by "best puncher" we're talking about "hardest puncher" then I don't think you can include PBF. He's more of an accumulative puncher than anything else. Hatton, while strong at 140, doesn't pack NEAR the punch at 147. That being the case, there's no way I'd be calling him the hardest p4p puncher in the sport.

Corrales has KO power in both fists, & at all times in a fight.

Edwin Valero MAY prove to be one. All but one of his previous opponents succumbed in the first and only one lasted until the second round. He's facing Vicente "El Loco" Mosquera in August for the WBA SuperFeather title in Panama. Mosquera tasted the canvass only once in a 26 fight pro career; in the hands of hardhitting Yodsanan Nanthachai, but survived the 3rd round KD to go on and win the WBA belt.

                It'll be interesting to see...

IMHO vic-flyweight, rafa-bantam, chico-jrlw & lightweight, may be the hardest puncher in there division ...

but pacman carried his punching power from flyweight up to jr. lightweight and still piling up those ko/tkos ...

p4p no.1 puncher, i am still not sure!?
