The best pound for pound puncher on the planet

i think this distinction, of best p4p puncher in the world clearly goes to diego corrales in my mind.

followed by the likes of rafa marquez, cotto, pac ahead of the hitman, you could maybe thrown in some more like castillo even though i hate seeing, typing of hearing his name after saturday.

hatton anihilated blown up lightweights, washed up lightwelters & drained up welters. but against a full welter he is weak, so p4p best puncher i doubt it

I was just about to admonish 2Tough for being a nuthugger, and then I see this comment. Lets be real here, neither Hatton nor Mayweather are devastating punchers, so lets stop swinging on the nuts for a second and talk real boxing here.

The pound for pound best puncher in the sport IMO is Rafael Marquez. The last bantamweight I saw with comparable power was Rube Olivares, and that was 30 something years ago. Marquez has blown away legit contenders in defense of his title with every conceivable punch. Marquez has every weapon in the arsenal, and a mastery of each tool.

p4p nobody on the planet hits harder than Manny Pacquiao. He TKO'ed Erik Morales for crying out loud.

Diego Corrales is the hardest puncher in boxing.

If you aren't looking at size and weight. He knocked Jose Luis Castillo out end of thread, end of topic.
