Oscar should have won the Trinidad fight, and Canelo should have won this one. Canelo did not fight like Oscar did in that fight, but GGG definitely fought like Trinidad did. Following Canelo around without really landing much. During the early rounds I thought Golovkin might make himself dizzy. He spent most of his time shaking his head at Canelo's punches. Great effort by both guys tho.

I'm watching the post fight presser on youtube right now (somebody shot it on their cell phone) and I'm 11 minutes in and having to pause because Oscar is talking and he's just soooo full of ****. It's so sad what happened to him. He felt he got robbed in the Trinidad fight, and instead of being in a position to right boxing, it appears he's doing it to other fighters to protect his guy--who now has 2 draws along with a loss. Hopkins is going right along with everything. No honor amongst thieves. I just hope these two guys at least acknowledged to each other in private before coming on stage for this that their guy got beat. That was a great fight, but it there's no way around it. If they rematch in May--which I don't know if Canelo will even take, he should probably drop back down to 155 where he has power, I think it'll be a Ward/Kovalev thing where GGG wins even easier this time. Canelo isn't like a Mayweather where he can just move around in the rematch and point. He's too flat footed and will stand and trade and gas again. Just who he is. Again, great fight between two great fighters, but wow what a croc.
