People saying Canelo is miles ahead as a better boxer. Golovkin is known for being an aggressive volume puncher but I don't think for one second you can have tree fiddy+ amateur and not know how to box. I mean the way he measured Lemiuex and boxed him with the jab surprised the whole world. If Canelo was fighting Lemiuex that night I think he would have gone down and dirty and have possibly been ko'd. We know Canelo didn't pull out his inner Mexican Warrior Spirit and cum at Floyd for 12 rounds, even when his corner knew he was getting schooled. What happens if Golovkin is the one outboxing the counter puncher Canelo?

Dwyer, though way over the top...has a pretty good take on this fight. Lets cut away all the hyperbole and look at what Dwyer touches on and others seem to not be aware of.

First off, TG is unorthodox and can make adjustments. he has an excellent sense of distance and the ability to crack with either hand. Canelo is very orthodox. He is a puncher really and needs to set his man up, or have his opponent come to him. hes very good I mean he managed to beat some guys who are very good adjusters in the ring like Trout, but TG has that exclamation point, that big punch.

Is Canelo good enough defensively to not get touched by a guy with TG's pedigree? Is he a good enough puncher to close the show if he catches TG? Canelo gets tired and sloppy and if he has a lapse, makes a mistake that answers that first question, the chavez fight answers the second, he could not finish a diminished junior.

Canelo's problem is that he is very predictable. TG can stay away from him and catch him outside all day.

It largely depends on what knowledge they hold related to various schools of boxing... and on assessing each fighter's record into the ring...

Yes he is. Apart from footwork and power Canelo is superior in every category.

Footwork and agility is going to be the deciding factor in this fight (And this will become very apparent after the first 4-6 rounds) If only Canelo Alvarez had the speed of foot of Floyd Maywetaher? He could possibly win this fight! Golovkin has a better Jab than Canelo Alvarez, and If you analyse his fights? He also has the faster more educated footwork! (In the second half of this fight Canelo Alvarez is in massive amounts of trouble!)....

Footwork is underrate attribute, James Toney could of easily beat Samuel Peter! If he could actually move his own body weight...
