the biggest shift in perception is not Golovkin, it is Danny Jacobs

most pundits saw Jacobs as a future G-victim, who had little/no chance..... and would be sparked within 6

now..... he is elite

and forget YEARS..... that turn-around happened in 1 fight

does that really sound right to you guys ?????

or, is it more likely that.....

* Danny was better than most observers thought

* Golovkin is a little more limited than most observers thought, especially when facing a fighter who utilises the right gameplan (movement/precision)

the Canelo/Golovkin debate has been raging for nearly 2 years

I always said that Golovkin was over-hyped and that people were sleeping on the fat red kid..... who will be much better/stronger when he eventually moves to 160

maybe Atlas bought into some of that hype?

all I am saying is..... not everyone performed this sudden u-turn in opinion, and decided to favor the red kid
