    Klitschko fans.

    Hey guys,

I am still new around here, but I thought it was about time to start this thread, I would like to hear your honest views on this.

The topic is the Wladimir Klitschko fans.
He gets praised like the second coming. But he is very limited, in my opinion.
He lost to Ross Puritty, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster fair and square. But the fans claim they were only lucky and would get brutalized in rematches. Then why on Earth doesn't Wlad rematch them? Let me take a guess: they are not worthy?!
Klitschko is good against hand-picked opponents like Castillo, Moli and Byrd - they are small and weak.

Klitschko was down 11 times in his career.
    1 Panell - lucky shot.
1 Puritty - lucky that Klitschko ran out of gas.
4 Sanders - lucky, probably one of the greatest hitters in history.
1 Brewster - lucky Klitscko ran out of gas.
1 Williamson - lucky, was only the balance.
3 Peter - lucky, illegal blows (Wlad's holding and turning around of course had nothing to do with it).

I am not trying to be disrespectful. Klitschko is a good boxer and deserves to be champ now. But could YOU please calm down about him?

He needs to rematch Brewster, but thats about it.Corrie Sanders is retired, and why would he rematch Purrity at this point?I don't think people are saying that Wlad is without his faults. But in todays HW division,he is easily the most skilled.

            Good Post...
I'll give you credit for that..

But here is to answer your question...
I'm a big Wlad fan of course, and here are the reasons I like to watch him fight:

1 - He is a very, very technical boxer (probably best skills in the division)
2 - His questionable chin. As most of the haters see it as a flaw, which of course it is for a boxer, as for his fan, it makes his fights a lot more interesting to watch.

So here you have this guy who can outbox anyone out there, but his questionable chin makes you sit on the edge of the seat for the entire fight, as you never know

3 - I like his personality. Intelligent, professional, and in great shape. Fighters that talk trash and can't back it up in the ring are not my type of fighters.

4 - Most importantly, I love when Wlad wins and makes the haters look oh so ******!

I agree with your other points except for intellegence and technical skills. James Toney is an extremely sound fighter in terms of ring generalship and knowledge. He is also a very smart fighter.

James Toney in shape has a good shot against most heavy weights even though he should'nt even be in the division with is height and lack of power. But matched up against Klitch and I think Toney would lose, but not because Klitch is more intellegent or more technical.

Do you think Klitchko is not technically skilled?
