I honestly think he's a psychopath. I don't think he feels any emotions, which is why he enjoys inflicting pain in the ring, but he's bizarrely nice outside of it. I think the nice guy persona is an act to make him more likable to be honest.
He looks at Candelita with a weird grin like a serial killer.
Yep. I think he's faking all of the emotions we see in interviews, which is why he smiled when he heard Canelo said he's gonna KO him. I don't think he knows which emotion to show at any given moment since he's faking them all. Maybe, I'm reading too much into it, but that's what I see.
I remember Max or someone asking him why he didnt finish Stevens after the first knockdown. His response was..... "have 12 rounds..... alot of time...... beat him... beat him.... beat him.... "

dude loves his job lol
I remember an interview about that, GGG was annoyed about Stevens trash talking before the fight,he said he hit Stevens hard enough to hurt him but didn't want to stop him, he wanted to punish him and he quit

I've always thought Kovalev and GGG both had that mean psycho streak inside. Both want to punish more than finish. It's a bit creepy but this is the hurt game.
I actually get the feeling Golovkin knows something a lot of people don't.
He's very confident about this fight. He seems a nice guy and talks about how its a 50/50 fight obviously to sell it but he comes out with some things like "i'll see you tomorrow" and after one fight he said "bring him, i'll show you" - He never usually speaks like this that much. I get the feeling he genuinely thinks/knows he can really whoop Canelo. All fighters think they can win of course, but they're also knowledgeable about boxing and probably have a fairly good idea if it's going to be a tough one, or if they just have the other guys number. I think GGG genuinely feels he has Canelo's number in this one.
