I'm a big Lemieux fan, but lets not pretend that he's anything more than a bulldozer. Technically, he's a limited brute. You only want to think of him as being more skilled than he actually is because he has been one of Golovkin's most notable opponents to date. Lemieux was given a boxing lesson by an old, past-his-prime Joachim Alcine. Alcine lost his next fight by 1st round KO to Matthew Macklin. We know Macklin is not a huge puncher, but his little bit of skill allowed him to do what Lemieux couldn't.

I DO give GGG credit for dominating the 160lb division.
It's the exact same credit that most fans gave Wladimir Klitschko for dominating a weak heavyweight division.
Canelo is not 154lbs anymore, but I think Golovkin is hoping that Canelo is still the same young man that he sparred many years ago. Neither guy is the same.

I may not be a fan of Golovkin, but I respect him enough to not make-up derogatory pet names for him. When I hear people calling Canelo "she" and "Candelita" it leads me to assume that they might be one of those kind of dudes who keeps photos of Delahoya in panties on their phone/computer. If I ever saw GGG in a dress, I would be trying to forget the horrible incident, not saving the photos for years to use as spank material.

CANELO has way more 12 round fights then Golovkin does ,GGG has only been 12 rounds once and he wasn't this super fast volume puncher in the championship rounds against Jacobs. You can't give GGG this huge advantage in the championship rounds with only 1 twelve round fight. Did you even watch the Chavez Jr. fight, cause from what I saw he won a 12 round to 0 fight in first gear, while standing up in the corner in between rounds , demonstrating his great conditioning. Remember Chavez was a way bigger guy with a granite chin, CANELO even invited Chavez to the ropes for some more toe 2 toe action.
Stamina won't be an issue vs. GGG. Like in most sports , a 27 year old more then likely will have better stamina then a 35 year old and in boxing that counts as well as a 27 year old body can take more punishment while producing a higher level of physical output. That's not even mentioning the reflexes advantage as well.

Your like a drowning man grasping for straws.
Canelo admitted himself he got tired against Chavez and went to the ropes for a break, Chavez didn't even apply any pressure so I can't understand how you think he has overcome this issue

So a boxer with existing stamina issues packs on 10 pounds of muscle for a fight, THEN drains down 15 pounds of water weight to make 160 and is expected to have better stamina? LOL, hell no that's not going to happen!!

She'll be fine for a couple rounds but no matter what GGG lands or doesn't land, Candelita will be slower than before and that stamina is going to be WORSE than before. Then, when you throw in the cumulative head and body damage that GGG will be inflicting during the course of the fight, Candelita will be exhausted by round 6 or so. When this fight enters rds 8-12, GGG will be having his way with the diva who will have no recourse but to lay on the ropes for breathers and take massive damage while doing so.
Exactly my point, ggg brings more pressure than most fighters out there as he doesn't give you a break, you take a step, he takes a step, I can't see how canelo can beat him honestly

I don't think Lemieux can win Alvarez. But as I said above, he is very dangerous. Low reward That's why I think Canelo didn't fight him instead of Zombie. Not only Lemieux, to prepare for GGG he could fight some solid MW. For example Saunders. But Canelo didn' risk.

Great job, Canelo. You gave that bum a boxing lesson. GGG should be happy he got a gift.

Canelo can't fight three minutes of each round. He blows his load in one minute and he is sucking wind for the other two minutes with his back on the ropes. That extra muscle weight slowed him down. GGG dominated tonight.

even if you think GGG won this is how ****** narratives evolved. "Dominated"? Really, you mean that? Dominated how? What's the barometer for that

He backed up Canelo for most of the fight. He was the aggressor and he walked through Canelo's punches. He controlled the pace of the fight.
