No you don't since what you stated is correct. Canelo is flashy with his combinations but it doesn't land as much as Marquez whose accuracy was deathly lethal in the lower divisions. While Marquez's defense isn't all that great since he gets hit too much by inferior fighters.

JMM much better boxer IMO. JMM much better P4P fighter. JMM one of my favorites so I think I'm a little biased, but no he was just better.

Marquez, clearly. Marquez was a complete technical boxer with amazing technique, counterpunching, the best combinations of the modern era and excellent ring IQ.

Canelo is very good too make no mistake, but Marquez was at a level that Canelo probably can't get to.

Marquez better counterpuncher and that's really his forte. He ****** at being the aggressor. Canelo's also a good counterpuncher, good aggressor but master of none. Make a little canelo at 130 or 147 against prime pacquiao and he'd get blitz.
But he's the more physically gifted guy between the two, excluding stamina maybe ��

I like Canelo better. JMM was a better boxer, but Canelo doesn't cry and bytch endlessly, about everything.
