Losses are cool. Who you lose to and how is what counts. Cotto, Canelo, Porter, Marquez, Pacquiao, ALL have losses on their record. But never in their prime late 20's did they come close to losing to scrubs. Only elite fighters.

Salido is FAR from elite. Put him in there with any real great fighter you will see the results.

NAME ME THREE prime fighters that lost to a cat with double digit losses in their prime???? Especially in the last 35 years since 12 round fights. NAME ME 3????
I just answered your question with valid examples and now you’re trying to spin it around... In any case you’re trying way too hard to discredit Loma. You’re acting like as if Loma fought Salido with a record of 25-0-0 when he only had ONE SINGLE FIGHT before fighting him and then losing in a HIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL fight. I don’t know where you are getting this idea that he was in his prime when he fought Salido but it’s very clear that you’re using this ‘loss’ and Salido’s number of losses as a crutch to simply rag on Loma’s accomplishment, which is very typical irrational trolling.

I’m sure if Loma were to have gotten that rematch and blitzed Salido like he was supposed to then no one would be talking.

I’ll give you one more example just for fun.

Jose Napoles lost to a guy named LC Morgan who had 31 losses when Napoles was arguably at his peak.

          • Continuing to bring up Loma's loss to Salido is like deciding not to purchase a product on Amazon that has 699 GREAT reviews and 1 bad review simply because that one bad review stands out in your mind the most.

Loma has actually had a decent slew of opponents, but he did lose to Salido. Boxing is filled with fighters who lost to someone only to come back and show they were truly above them after getting their feet wet a bit more.

I don't usually stand up for Loma, but I think we need to stop defining his entire career by that early loss and focus on what he's done since then.

If Salido isn't elite, then obviously Loma's beaten better fighters since that loss.

No I'm not chump. People LOVE bringing up the TWO gold medals. But when Salido tapped that ass now you bring up his lack of fights.

Like I said f@ggot name me a prime fighter since 12 round fights who was elite who lost to a cat with double digit Ls? You CAN'T. Checkmate f@ggot

                  • Salido couldnt beat Lomachenko in a fair fight...

He had to cheat on the scales...lose the opportunity to fight for the belt, cheat in the ring by throwing hundreds of lowblows and cheat by being a weight bully in the ring at 147lbs at featherweight. And he still couldn't convincingly beat Lomachenko and got his ass whooped the last round where he had to hold on for dear life. Not a real loss in my eyes.

And now you have just exposed yourself as an immature man child who now resorts to name calling after I simply gave you a bit of boxing knowledge. You just proved my point.

The fact that you have NO idea who Jose Napoles is, considered as one of the best WWs ever, and actually had the audacity to call him a NOBODY already shows that you are literally the EPITOME of a casual boxing fan. I can't be bothered to continue arguing with you but I did enjoy the amusing responses from you. Thank you and good night.
