Any ideas what ggg's different strategy is?

Even a tactical GGG is still a very aggressive minded fighter. GGG will make Canelo work hard every minute of every round. GGG will dictate the fight with his jab, then we have that constant pressure, landing power shots that Canelo never tasted before and all of that will be too much for Canelo.

Canelo is going to get tired, really tired after just a few rounds and be in survival mode. GGG will walk down an exhausted Canelo and knock him the f-ck out. People will be surprised how easy GGG wins this fight.

I just think that the style doesn't work well for canelo, as much as it does for golovkin.

Canelo has pretty good defense and upper body movement but it's not good *enough* to last 12 rds against golovkin

GGG is GGG and i doubt we are going to see anything new that we haven't seen before. It would be difficult to get a 35 years old to do anything differently, he just need to be himself. We all know if he lands well he can get Canelo out of there. Am really pumped up for this fight. It's so easy to watch fights like this because you don't care who wins as long as there isn't any controversy.

GGG has a terrific jab, and i think this is where Canelo wins this fight. Am sure they have worked on that in camp, by going to GGG body. If Canelo allows him to control the fight with that jab then he is dead in there within 8 rounds.

GGG has a terrific jab, and i think this is where Canelo wins this fight. Am sure they have worked on that in camp, by going to GGG body. If Canelo allows him to control the fight with that jab then he is dead in there within 8 rounds.

I think he'll try to make Canelo work at a faster pace than he wants to early on. Constant pressure behind his jab and body shots. Use his stamina issues against him then turn up the heat in the mid rounds and stop Canelo in about nine rounds.

Great point. He always needs both feet planted to throw a counter.

his lead left foot has to be planted for him to punch. Expect GGG and Abel to already done their homework on this and i can see GGG reading this pattern and throwing the JAB fast into canelo not to always hit but it will offset canelo from setting of at times.
GGG did this beautifully against David L, reading when he was about to punch (which feet need to be planted to punch)

I don't think those two fight any where close to GGG. And i never use triangle scenario to look at fights. its not offensive to think Canelo beats GGG (Jab or no jab), If that is the case why are they fighting?

he'll come forward like always does. he doesnt need to do much different to what hes done in his last 37 fights. I'd like to see him bring back the body shots a bit more though, canelos gonna be a sitting duck on them ropes for it.
