>GGG hurt by Willie Monroe
GGG was not seriously hurt. He got tagged a few times clean. GGG was not about to get stopped or anything from that lol. If Monroe really felt like he could hurt GGG seriously, then he wouldn't have quit.
If anything I'd be more concerned about how he took the punches from Brook. Again, not that he was in danger of being stopped but he definitely felt some of those shots.
>GGG drained
Nah he doesn't looked drained. But if I was guessing who has more weight they could slide off based on how they looked in the final presser, I would say Canelo. GGG looked just a tad gaunt in the face. Doesn't look bad enough for me to change my pick.
BTW, I think that's more of an age thing than a size thing. Younger fighters have a much easier time squeezing water weight off of their body without impacting their well being. Even if they shed a bit more weight.
I am looking forward to seeing them at the weigh in to get a better idea.
>GGG bigger than Canelo
Well GGG is a natural MW, and Canelo made 154 against Smith which I seriously doubt GGG could do. But Canelo is no small JMW. Plus he had a fight recently at a larger weight, so he's at least been given some time to pack on muscle mass and grow accustomed to fighting well above JMW.
Basically I don't think size is a big factor in this fight. There isn't enough separating the two. That being said, we don't really know with certainty how Canelo will react to punches from a good fighter at MW, or what impact his punches will have on GGG.
But yes, I do think GGG is bigger in terms of mass that matters. Canelo chugging water down after the weigh in is unlikely to sway my mind about that.
