Comments Thread For: Joseph Diaz: I Have No Respect For Josh Warrington Anymore!

Featherweight contender Joseph Diaz (24-0, 13 KOs) has a new opponent after Jorge Lara, who was originally slated to face him on the Saul Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin pay-per-view undercard at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday pulled out last night citing a back injury. Now, Diaz is paired with Rafael Rivera, in a bout that will remain as a WBC eliminator.

Warrington will be 50-0 before he decides he's ready to fight a top contender or one of the champs.

Josh Warrington is pathetic! he already had British, Euorpean and International titles at Featherweight starting in 2012, but the young American Joseph Diaz is gunning for a world championship in his fourth year as a pro! these euro-bums can make a living fighting at home all their lives vs. the Kid Galahad's and Ryan Walsh of the UK. Is Diaz talking about fighting in the UK? Josh won't travel down the street, but is Jojo a hermit too? I want to hear those words. "I'll come to you!" All this "disrespect" is just a lure on a line with a home town hook in it.

Warrington backed out the purse bid because he ducked the fight. If his promoter wins the purse bid the fight would of been in his backyard. This was about 1 thing Jojo being too good and would of waxed his azz so he rather continue fighting bums.

Glad to hear the WBC is still making this an eliminator. Got to feel for Jojo who literally has fighters left and right running from fighting him. He shouldn't even need an eliminator for a title shot as he's been the WBO #1 ranked fighter for some time now but Oscar Valdez holds that belt and want's no parts of Jojo who already beat him in amateurs. Arum owns the WBO that's why they dragging their feet mandating the fight. Valdez was handed a vacant belt he didn't earn after Lomachenko moved up and has fought nothing but bums ducking Jojo. Valdez won a vacant belt and been allowed 3 soft title defenses none of which against anyone in the top 10 hell not even a top 20 featherweight. So Jojo forced to go the WBC route to get a eliminator fight that will promise him a mandatory title shot BEFORE the WBO when he's their number 1 ranked fighter? SMH

You miss my point. We know about Josh. What I'm saying is, an offer to fight in the UK by Diaz is more convincing than this loss of respect. Tell Josh he'll fight him in his own house, they can sell out a stadium. Does Diaz have that kind of confidence?

Lmao another U.K. bum who's not trying to take a real fight. Will build a career off of fighting nobodies at the domestic lvl at best and once he finally decides to step up will get washed
