Jacobs is being very underrated around here. People remember him getting KTFO against Pirog, but Pirog would probably have KTFO Canelo too. He's a talented fighter, with power, above average speed, and underrated craft. He turned southpaw against GGG and threw him a curveball.

Not to say Canelo sucks(Far from it), but I haven't seen Canelo do something like switch southpaw to change the pace of a fight.

??? You must be new to boxing and dont understand what weight draining does. You basically starve yourself and put a LOT of stress on your body. Athletes have died or done permanent damage to their body doing it before like your kidneys. And will need MULTIPLE bags of IV to recover. And I've heard studies of KO's being a LOT worse to the brain when you do it..

But yeah GGG making 154 to fight Floyd would be fine.

It's funny how some folks try to judge GGG's entire career and ability on his fight with Jacobs, that's bit like judging Marvin Hagler on his performance against Roberto Duran (Hagler struggled against the former lightweight before winning a very close decision), or judging Foyd Mayweather on his performance against Castillo (a fight which most thought he lost clearly).

Its called being exposed from the hype cuz as soon as he fights a good opponent he loses. Yes he loss to Jacobs but they gave him the fight to make the Nelo fight cuz its brings MORE $ to the table than a Jacobs fight could bring. This is not rocket science.....

So Golovkin was outjabing and dropping Jacobs in a 12 rds fight and this somehow looked like a 'loss' on his record but FMJ going 12 rds with his former opponents is 'OK' and super cool! LOL Dumbass logic.

Why is it that whoever says lil g won its was the jab (Jacobs landed plenty of jabs also) or the knockdown won him the fight but Jacobs made him miss more, landed more, backed him up to the body, counted him & threw combos. Seems like people remember what they want to or just ignore everything else.

Jacobs chin is way weaker than canelos,canelos chin is just as good or better than gggs,his jaw looks like someone from game of thrones ffs. Jacob's been kd/ko 3x already vs worse resume than canelo at older age.
Likewise I never randomly claim other fighters getting kd or kod as meaning ggg would too when his chins strong like canelos as that makes no sense.

Canelos never really been shook w a punch like ggg hasnt either,they both have granite chins,jacobs is known for having a weak chin. Just because he withstood gggs attack, doesn't mean his chins better he just tucked it better,he was still kd 2x & ko 1x in his career. Funny how ggg fans dont rate canelos skills or power(a supposed mediocre) but they are ready to give gg all the credit as an atg if he wins.

I predict Canelo & Ggg will probably have around the same power at 160 because theres boxers who have sparred both that say canelo has more 1 punch power but doesn't sustain it much as ggg in every punch.
People dont realize speed is the biggest contributor to punch force besides mass & most gggs own fans & trainer etc. Say canelos the faster fighter, I've never seen ggg get ko of the yr type kos from 1 punch like canelo who won ko of yr 2 yrs in a row,gggs game is destroying u through attrition over entire fight.

Here's an interesting fact,out of gggs last 10 fights hes had 7 tkos 1 UD,& only 2 kos that were against house arrest bum Wade & already kod 3x old rubio. But these peeps around here claim canelo will be battered by ggg,it took ggg 5 rds longer than Angulo to tko rosado & did it at full 160 four yrs later than angulo who did it when rosado hadnt been kod & at jmw where he has no business going higher than. I don't think gggs as big a ko artist as his reputation claims,his opponents have mostly been weak chins kod by other non huge puncher fighters.

it's hilarious how insecure super mario and little g are about that jacobs fight. deep down they know they got a gift. danny didn't even do anything special. he was just using fundamentals and had little g completely befuddled. on saturday he's gonna be in there with somebody on a different level. he will be exposed badly.
