It's Oscar De La Hoya-Mayweather not the other way around

The author of the article mentioned "Mayweather-Oscar De La Hoya" as one of the three biggest-revenue fights of all time, but it is the other way around, it is Oscar De La Hoya-Mayweather, anyone who knows a tiny bit about boxing knows that Oscar was the A-side for that fight by a landslide, I think the split was 70-30 in favor of De la Hoya or something like that, and Oscar was clearly the attraction not cowardly Mayweather Jr.

In fact THANKS TO OSCAR, THANKS TO THAT FIGHT, Mayweather Jr. became famous and became the #1 draw. But it was Oscar the one that made boxing at weights other than heavy weight, a very, VERY profitable deal. In fact, it was Oscar the one that made a fight other than heavy weight more profitable than heavy weight fights, and this was BEFORE that pest Mayweather Jr. even appeared on the scene.

Just to clear things up. It was Oscar De La Hoya-Mayweather, clearly Oscar being the A side in that fight. 70-30 or 75-25, something like that, whereas Floyd-Manny was 60-40, almost a split, even though the fight took place on American soil and Manny isn't even an American! Just imagine if Manny was an American, I'd bet my life that Manny would have easily been the A-side for that fight, because boxing fans, both seasoned and casual, always prefer the aggressive fighter over the cowardly trickster, except very few exceptions, but in this case, it is the nationality what carried the most weight.

The Floyd that fought Mcgregor has very little chance against Canelo, GGG, Crawford, Thurman or Spence and the fight will easily do over 1 million buys, probably closer to 1.5 million.

Lmao this is the most dumbest thing I've ever read. If he was American he'd still get his aśś whooped. Fans don't care about no damn purse split. Arum take 15% anyway lol Now he's fighting on cable television getting bloodied by school teachers for 3million dollars and no one gives a dåmn about him. Meanwhile Floyd still breaking records.

Floyd has surpassed Oscar in every way he kicked his aśś, all his fighters aśś then stole all his fighters lol. Ruined him so bad he turned to crack and cross dressing.

Golden Boy has no background in boxing,” Arum told the paper. “They rely on Oscar, who’s a dummy. Oscar is one of the ******est guys I’ve ever met. I’m just saying what it is. The guy is really not smart. Forget just ‘not smart.’ He’s not just even average.”

It's clear who the biggest star is just look at the common opponents lol.. And you didn't have all these streaming devices when Oscar was fighting like you do now.

Of course it is, no doubt at all. There was no pressure on him going in against Mayweather. TBE was suppose to be the favourite etc, but now things are different.
