You Certain They Are Giving The Decision To Canelo? (Think Again)

the draw point is true in most cases........ but not all and i actually don't think it's true in this case.

Let's take ODLH's career for example. He was robbed against Trinidad and Mosley twice.

Why? It's because ODLH is a bonafide draw just like Canelo.... but in giving the decision to Trinidad and Mosley created 2 more stars in boxing. More revenue in total.

Same case here, Canelo has had his share of gifts already. There are far more upsides to having GGG win a close decision. boxing is a business that watches out for itself and itself only.

If Canelo wins..... what other big fights are there?

However, if GGG wins the decision. There will be 2 more fights. Both million PPV box office draws.

if GGG wins and goes up.... then boxing will have 2 PPV stars rather than 1.

It's not as clear cut as you may think. =)

That's a very good theory! But even if it goes to 12, GGG will get the nod. Sometimes the judges will go with the clear victor even if the cash cow is involved.

If GGG does to Canelo what Raheem did to Morales, GGG is getting the decision.

Mexicans never get the decision outside of Texas. IDK why people seem to think Canelo wins this if it goes 12. My theory is Mexicans can always rebuild and have a following, a guy like GGG loses and his career WILL NEVER be the same. Cards are stacked against Canelo thats why hes training to put a hurting on GGG.

Or Frankie Randall did to JCC sr.

don't be too sure now. the jab wins the fight. Canelo's jab doesn't compare.

you can also add the fact that only a ggg win guarantees a rematch, which is convenient to everybody, networks, promoters(yes oscar too), boxers, casinos, etc...
it means more money for everybody...

Canelo got a draw against Mayweather and he won that lara fight.

The thing is too... when you are always getting close decisions..... people keep track. when you get so many reds in a row......next time it may not turn up red.

WHile I think Canelo wins by UD, the notion GGG can't get a decision is a little too much. I agree it will be tough for him to get a UD, but without Ross or Kazmareck judging it isn't impossible.

That said if he whips dat ass he will get a UD but the scores will be closer than they should.

to be honest, i think that the crowds reaction will affect the judges view on close rounds...

i don't believe Canelo is capable of whipping that ass due to his overrated power and historically low work rate.
