    Always gives me a chuckle when these guys think (or don't think critically) events happen for providential reasons, then when they don't work out, they just adjust their trajectory - instead of thinking or maybe just getting angry that god has let them down- or maybe he wasn't there at all.

I've also gotten a chuckle everytime I hear a fighter say the "first and foremost I gotta thank God" as if God played any role in the fight and helped him win which would mean he made another man lose lol. Or when an athlete gets ready to play and they do a quick religious thing like where they touch the forehead, chest then each shoulder like the Catholic tradition I believe. I once saw a baseball game where the pitcher who had just been brought into the game did that little gesture before he stepped onto the mound, and the batter actually did it before he stepped into the batters box. I thought to myself, "how exciting! Who is God gonna choose?!" Lol
