- Daniel Jacobs and Canelo Alvarez are not the same. Jacobs has a clear understanding of angles, Canelo has troubles with that sometimes.
- GGG's jab is quicker than given credit, he also throws them from different angles. Due to Jacobs range and movement, GGG began to shoot the jab and use his right hand to block or disrupt Jacobs vision if he tried to counter.
- Brook got knocked out just like Liam Smith did and neither fighter looked great in their wins.
- On Saturday night, you will be shocked that he can fight on the inside. Canelo, a fighter moving up will get the same treatment if he's outboxing GGG. He will cut the ring off and tee-off.
He's not overrated. Older (slowed down), but not overrated. May the best fighter win.

The punch that won GGG the fight was the jab. If Canelo can effectively counter and make GGG hesistant to throw the Jab he's going ot beat him.
Monroe Jr was right, GGG has a hard time fighting on the inside. Brook had sucess fighting ont he inside. When both Brooks and Monroe tried boxing and moving their fight GGG tee'd off on them and cut the ring off.
Canelo is going ot have to fight in the pocket and take the jab away. If he does that he's going to beat the **** out of GGG.
You are right the difference in the Jacobs fight was the dominance of the jab by Golovkin. In order for Canelo to counter the jab he's going to have to use his own jab or he's going to have to work to get inside. I don't think the counter you see in this link is going to be effective against Golovkin. That's a lazy jab in every way.

Brook had some success fighting on the inside but I don't think most guys can stay in and trade. If you do work on the inside and then get out that's one thing. But standing toe to toe, I think that is a losing proposition for Canelo. Also by nature Canelo isn't an inside fighter. That isn't the type of fight he wants.
This fight will be in the pocket. If Canelo tries to be Rocky after training with Apollo he'll get worn out and ultimately destroyed. Now he may mix that in a bit but I don't think anyone thinks he can do that effectively. He doesn't have the mindset IMO to fight a rough and tumble (Bernard Hopkins or later in his day James Toney fight). He'll be at the exact distance that is perfect for Golovkin IMO. The question is who does what better. Does Canelo avoid significant punishment and counter better or does Golovkin time him well and he simply hits Canelo with too many power shots?

No one overrates the guy more than you clowns do.
He has to move up and fight the number one P4P Ward before he becomes legit doe. If that's not overrating I don't know what is.
Jermall Charlo beat a nobody like Williams, then move up to fight another nobody like Helland. Yet he's already legit in your eyes.
I recall clearly that you gave zero chance to Jacobs beating Golovkin. He's got Pirog problems doe. He's got Mora problems doe.
Now you clowns are using the same Jacobs whom you yourselves written off from the very beginning.

GGG is the best middleweight today. Not sure if this is overrating him in your mind.
But if he's so overrated, you can make some good money by betting everything you have on Canelo. He's got the youth and, according to many here, the "skills."

If golovkin was so overrated he'd have been found out by now, as much as it upsets you all he deserved to win the jacobs fight and the stats clearly show that. Youre gonna all be so dissapointed when golovkin wins again... best start getting charlo hyped up in advance!
