This is just a function of boxing being pretty big in the UK at the moment. Joshua could fill any venue in the country - the stadium he's at only seats 74,500 so that's going to be a sell-out again.
I doubt it really matters who Joshua fights either, I bet a good proportion of the people buying tickets couldn't name who he's fighting.

Cardiff is the only venue they could put this fight. The only stadium with a roof. British weather is not nice in November so Wembley was out.

Damn.
Just shows how hot the UK boxing world, and how cold it is in America.
Joshua selling 75k tickets for a "meh" mediocre fight vs pulev
Wilder hasn't sold 75k tickets, his whole career combined

I still wish they would have put GGG-Canelo at AT&T. What a spectacle..

When you sell out two stadiums fights back to back with 90k & 80k, it speaks for itselfs.
Obviously Floyd stands alone in terms of sales on all fronts.
I think AJ has a chance to surpass everybody but Floyd. Unless he finds a way to penetrate the US market, then anything is possible.

Now at Wilder knows who the A-side is, I wonder what his excuse will be for pricing himself out of a fight with Joshua next year.
