I don't know about that. I think boxing would be better served if losing once in a while was more acceptable than it has become in the age of Floyd. The best ages of boxing are marked by great fighters losing to great rivals. If Canelo wins, Golden Boy will likely go back to protecting their golden child. If he loses (and does not retire as a result), he's going to have to rebuild to reclaim his greatness. That could be great for boxing.
