Golovkin would be the winner if karma actually existed. Canelo was treated as the golden child throughtout his career....GGG was avoided by most of his high ranked competition and is finally getting a shot at a really good payday. Justice would be served if Canelo was beaten soundly.

I agree that a Canelo win is whats best for boxing however I just don't see it happening. Canelo certainly has good skill but what has won him his fights for the most part is that he is usually substantially larger that his competition at the Canelo 155 weight. At Middle there are too many bad matchups such as Charlo and Jacobs who I think would both beat him.
