Much like GGG, Canelo is willing to trade shot for shot because his opponents are much smaller. The problem for Canelo now is GGG can take his punch and can punch a lot harder than anyone he has faced.

See what the fighters themselves think.

Canelo has always been able to bully the smaller guy (yes, GGG too) so it will be interesting to see how Canelo reacts to someone who can take his punch and punch harder than anyone he's faced.

          Chavez - lazy
          Liam - small
          Khan - super small
          Cotto - past prime
Kirkland - no wolf and 15 month inactivity

Kirkland might be the biggest puncher he's faced and I think he actually stunned Canelo once.
Liam Smith small? Quit trolling. If Smith were to compress his body to Nelo's height he would come off close to looking huskies, but the weight is still there, and let's not pretend a Brit has no idea to rehydrate ffs...

Canelo does very good body work. How effective that works against Golovkin will be interesting. Going to the body though opens you up to be hit so how will Golovkin respond and how will Canelo take the return fire.

So many things that make this fight interesting and fun.

So Geale is a good win for Cotto but not GGG? He beat Geale and an injured past prime Martinez.

How am I making excuses? I'm just pointing out that his opponents haven't been all that great recently. Am I wrong about the other names tho?

I don't think that is necessarily true. Canelo does want to box more and is better with his head movement/defense. Golovkin is much more willing to trade blows. I don't think Canelo thinks he can get in a war of blows. He is going to have to make Golovkin miss a lot and counter. I think his best shot is to out work Golovkin without taking serious damage.

All that said I got Golovkin in 10.

I repeat the question: who has Canelo stopped with his body attack?

                      UK-level bums don't count.
