This is like when a white girl phuks a couple black dudes and then get's around other black people starts feeling herself thinking that makes her black too and drops "nigga" out her mouth.
I hope Canelo wins and the mexicans finally realize who is the real mexican champion, and not some fake mexican who acts like he is because he knows mexicans would buy all his marketing because of the hate they have to Canelo.
At StubHub Center on Saturday night I saw A LOT of Mexicans and Latinos wearing GGG gear and didn't see one of them wearing any CA gear. I was surprised by that. The line to buy GGG swag was long all night. It will be very interesting to hear who gets more crowd support on Saturday and how that changes during the fight.
I think he means he has Mexican blood on his hands.
Seriously though, Golovkin glorifies Mexican boxing style, and I've never seen any Mexican people offended by this as some sort of cultural appropriation.
If you're Mexican and this offended you speak up, but if you're not Mexican maybe lay off being offended on their behalf.
GGG needs to shut the phuk up. Seriously This is like when a white girl phuks a couple black dudes and then get's around other black people starts feeling herself thinking that makes her black too and drops "nigga" out her mouth. Nah you still white
GGG pandering to mexicans is pretty lame, wonder how the white power brigade feel about this lol.
GGG is just referencing the respect and admiration for Mexican boxing which caused him to seek out a Mexican trainer when he moved to the States.
Many European boxers and boxing fans have that same admiration for the Mexican style. Ricky Hatton called himself "The Manchester Mexican" and came into the ring for some of his fights wearing a sombrero.
Another UK boxer, an Irish traveller called Michael Armstrong, took it a stage further than Ricky and Golovkin .. he not only wore a sombrero, but actually changed his name, legally, to Michael Gomez, and passed that name down to his children.
One of his sons, Michael Gomez Jr, is following in his dad's fistic footsteps.
