I also started a topic abt that last week: https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...d.php?t=757772
Golovkin does have a world class jab, but it will take more than jabbing to get the job done. They will be trading shots and there will be exchanges in the fight. GGG should win, but nothing is a certainty. At one point, people thought no one could knock out Mike Tyson, George Foreman, or Sugar Ray Robinson, but guess what, they were all knocked out. We shall see how it all turns out soon enough.

So let's just say he was rubbish without Wolfe. That's the guy Canelo fought. And he didn't hit Canelo. So it's no clue as to how he's going to do at middle against a big puncher like I say.

That's why they fight. On paper everyone has a favorite. Even the best at predicting fights are wrong a lot of times.

Did anyone expect Ward to TKO Kovalov???

            Or Srisaket to KO Chocolatitio???

I hope you do the same if Canelo wins. And I hope you still respect GGG even if he loses and don't jump of the Ggg train for Lomachenko

Canelo looks and sounds like he's coming to try to KO GGG, which is a poor strategy. The fight will end definitively, but it will be Canelo on the canvas multiple times until they stop it. I am kinda happy they waited until now to make the fight because there will be no excuses about Canelo being too young or not ready (like with Mayweather).

Yeah maybe, but did you make the fight when Golovkin looked invincible? No, you did not.

he offered Mr " anyone from 154-168 " that fight at 155

but Mr Invincible needed to hold onto his advantage

when Golovkin ran around for FOUR YEARS saying hye could beat anyone from 154-168, we thought he was actually going to take those fights

I cannot see your point is stretching things to find a reason to blame the A-side, when that fight will happen in less than a week?

Canelo made a statement and I responded to it. If it's such a moot point, then why did he make the statement? Anyway, we will see in 5 days what's what with these two fighters.
