  • Comments Thread For: Canelo Rejects Claims He Made GGG Fight After Signs of Decline

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has dismissed suggestions he only agreed to fight Gennady Golovkin after the Kazakh struggled to victory over Daniel Jacobs in March. The Mexican, 27, finally faces WBC, IBO, WBA and IBF middleweight champion Golovkin on Saturday at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena in the most significant fight since Floyd Mayweather defeated Manny Pacquiao in 2015.

anyone believe that for a second? all the evidence says otherwise that it was "already made" also his knockouts are better than mine....you fought kirkland and khan and ya did it on purpose so you would get those spectacular knockouts.

You don't have to, Oscar already came clean that was the plan.

all these pathetic g strings have the excuses ready to go when canelo flatlines little g. if he would've accepted his role as the b side this would've happened long ago. he should've dropped to 155 for the fight since hes on record saying hes willing to sacrifice to make big fights. but that was all phony. little g has yet to drop or gain a pound hes been 160 forever. this fight is bigger than belts and canelo is proving that by telling the wbc to **** off. having little g's scalp on his resume does more than a belt. but since little g wanted to be a diva and not meet nelo at 155 he had to wait for canelo to move up. now we're here.

Anybody who feels GGG has declined in performance is only deceiving himself.
he's fought the best fighters at middleweight while Canelo fought big names at catchweights. It's going to be fireworks and smell a late KO.

Oscar and Canelo already admitted they never even asked for 155.

Stop being so butt her that ggg refused to let Canelo compromise him like he does everyone else with that, but but but I'm A-side and Floyd did it bs.

Canelo built his career on bring the anti-Floyd, but as soon as fans demand he fight a guy at his weight, without waiting until he's showing decline, Canelo goes full biiiitch.

He turns his back on the Organization that built his fake ass.

You Canelo fans better hope what GGG said the other day isn't remotely true:

                  A. That he's gonna make an example out of Canelo

                  B. That Canelo thinks he aged him but he baited him, his feeling stronger, better.

                  C. That he knew a Jacobs domination would lead to no Canelo fight.

****, if GGG is the same as he was in the Murray, Monroe, Lemiuex fight. You Canelo fans are gonna be a depressed lot this weekend.

I think you all would be happy if Canelo wins by Robbry. You all pretend like everyone doesn't know he's protected.

Does Canelo really think his KO over Khan, Smith, and punch Drunk Kirkland are impressive.

His team must of realized his best chance lies with a inflated ego. If Canelo comes at ggg he's gonna never be the same.
