Everyone of gggs fanbase always claims canelos been cherrypicking the last few yrs,yet in those last few yrs hes faced several fighters who would be gggs best wins by far,(cotto,Angulo,Lara,chavez jr regardless of washed up)many of his opponents have more impressively beaten way better versions of gggs best wins,others who had beat the guys that beat gggs opponents before him. ggg has been the one whos a true diva,he *****ed out vs ward but wanted chavez jr,& 50 yr old bhop at 168. Cotto was well beaten by Trout and wasn't a middleweight, so gives no clue as to how this fight goes. Lara, I thought beat Canelo, but hes no better than Jacobs. There's no real difference in opposition. Sure Brook was a smaller opponent, but at least he hadn't been knocked out twice at lighter weights, in one round at lightweight by Mr Nobody,like Khan, who was first choice. So this is where the fight was already signed bull***** these GGG haters vomit up comes from. The fight wasn't already made. Canelo was both "adamant that the deal was already in place" before the Jacobs fight and that "it was basically done". In the real world, basically done does not mean done. Basically done means there are still things to negotiate and things that may impact or even kill the deal. Yet these a$$holes talk about how it was signed sealed and delivered way back when.

You also thought Trip would spark out Jacobs. And before the excuse rolls in...he didn't have a 10 lb rehydration restriction for the Pirog or Mora fights so let's not blame it on skipping that weigh in.

Also, when using logic that includes ALL of your Alvarez theories. Alvarez was weight drained making 154 since he rehydrates in the high 170s(something you have said). As such he shouldn't gas as much since he won't have to drain those 6 pounds.

Further to that, will Trip have enough in the tank late to take advantage of that. He didn't versus Jacobs.
