Path of least resistance for the Gift.
The guy hasn't been going after the jugular.
There's the Khan rematch which is more lucrative.
And Khan had called him out a thousand times.
It's not like Khan is dangerous considering he's been off for years now.
I doubt The Gift will be gifted with $1 mil for this Rios fight.
PBC is broke. Showtime is focused on circus fights.

I think Rios is already one of those cats who's been f#cked up by punches to the head in fights + sparring. Brain damage is usually a long game so I think Rios will be fine in the immediate future, but when he's 50, 55, 60 years old it won't be pretty if he's still around by then.
