For the 30 day weigh in G was 170.

And though Saul did not participate. It was reported from his camp he was at 175 a couple of days before that 30 day weigh in that G participated in.

I know what I'm talking about. I guessed G's weight from Thursday and was accurate. I'm not picking sides, I can care less who wins. I'm not a fanboy of either so I can talk and view things from a neutral standpoint and give an honest, unbiased, real, truthful, opinion.

Was intrigued by what a couple of G's past opponents have been saying in that its not so much the power with Golovkin, its the pressure he puts on so that the punches just keep coming, some that you don't expect. Kind of tallied with what Rosado once said that Golovkin's power wasn't an issue, it was just the accumulation.

We also know that Canelo likes to take rests in fights, and got to wonder with the added weight if he's going to need more of the same. Add that to Golovkin's constant pressure, and Canelo isn't going to be able to take his customary catnaps mid-fight.

Golovkin is clearly gearing up for 12, and unless Canelo can take him out, hard to imagine that Canelo won't end up getting hit more than he's ever been hit before, and a lot harder too. If Canelo wins, he's going to have to earn it. Gonna be good.

Good post. Canelo is going to have to work harder and look better than he ever has to win this fight. I predict a 10th round stoppage from the Canelo corner, as he takes to many blows. If there is a one punch knockout I think from Golovkin it is more likely to be from a body shot.

Canelo will be ready. I do think he is coming in jacked. It will be interesting to see how he performs if he is much bigger than he has been in the past.
