The Way Gonzalez Fought Was Embarrassing

Its like people feel like P4P is a seat reserved for who they want to see up there but after Floyd retired and Ward as inactive there was not many other boxers that were worthy or qualified, keep in mind Crawford just became undisputed...so I dont have a problem that NSB dont regard him as high as #1. but to call him a hype-job is totally unfounded and its funny to me that some people hating on GGG for not moving up or challenging himself ( at least in their eyes ) cant see the hypocrisy when 'Chocolatito' has been doing just that!
I respect your honesty. I was also disappointed in Choco for not being a man of his word, that is karma and he deserved to get sparked.
Also, good point about the hypocrisy of those individuals criticizing GGG for not moving up and thhen not giving credit to Roman Gonzalez for doing just that.Comment

At least he fought a prime, dangerous opponent. What is embarrassing is claiming to be the best and then fighting C-rate fighters and MMA clowns.Comment

Styles makes fight you POS, Roman is a pressure fighter, Rugvisai is a brick wall that does not fold under pressure and instead throws bombs while being pressured.. Chocolatito has actually never faced such boxers, every one else he faced folded under pressure, including Estrada, Cuadras.
now im not defending choc but style makes fight.Comment

he took a fight here or there, but he didn't move there permanently or fight at the championship level until he'd been a pro for more than half a decade.
your narrative is way, way off if you're taking one tune up fight or a fight here or there between championship fights to stay busy as evidence that he was a 112 lber all along. he was 5'3" tall and he was fighting championship level fights for years [almost 8 of them] prior to moving permanently to 112 lbs
"he foght at 112 lbs once, he was actually a 112 lber all along. nevermind the fact that he was actually a 105 and 108 lber for almost an entire decade."
keep digging, i'll get you a shovel. i love seeing this narrative discrediting chocolatito's career after he was very obviously on the decline and took a beating, or that he had hard fights in his 4th weight class and when he was in his late 20's and 30's, a decade into a career as a come forward and aggressive puncher, and well after most tiny little boxers peak.
he was not a bigger guy fighting smaller guys. he was a minimum weight and a 108 lber literally for long enough to be a hall of famer. had a half a decade run as champion at 105 and 108 lbs, and weighed exactly 108 lbs when he debuted.Comment

This is completely ****** , you cant compare the level of competition : that Gonzalez fought to Rungivisai in world title bouts and you are completely ignorant or deliberately ignore the Thai system of match making when even their top elite fighters will fight other rivals from different gyms despite not having world class experience.
Whats the motive for the hate? he never disrespected anyone and has done what is expect and beyond.Comment

fanboy excuses like he was a championship level fighter for 10 years taking punches in victory and defeat?
what gonzales doesn't have is a manufactured record that allows him to continue to make mone well into his 30's. he's also a tiny guy, and they peak early in life. he was maneuvered into hard fights and had a style that lead to him hitting the wall you saw the other night, but you could also see the decline for years. had his face broken, was not the combination he used to be, hard fight with cuadras, a bigger guy by a long shot if you know what you're looking at, where he started to really show his age.
i saw some black supremecist called "boxing ego" on the istagram trying to compare him to "4 division champion" adrien broner.
"we got 4 belts, yall mad"
"he got 4 belts, yall praise."
you should see the guy's comment section. it's hard line black supremecists saying broner is better than chocolatito, and real boxing fans saying "see chocolatito in the hall, see broner in prison in 5 years."

So getting stopped twice doesn't put wear & tear on your body? He was thrown to the wolves his very first fight & was stopped in his first two fights. If Chocolatito is this great p4p fighter why has he been in so many wars with mediocre competition? His greatness was being able to cut weight & take punches to the face while overpowering smaller guys.
you are so f#cking dense
he was a 5'3" minimum weight and 108 lber who didn't leave 108 lbs for good until he'd been boxing pro for damn near a decade.
i have no idea where you guys get the stones to act liek you understand boxing. go check out the career of any historically great little guy and you'll see hiim fall way the hell off when he gets older. this narrative is surprising, but it shou;dn't be. you guys are literally idiots.Comment
