Its what i said in the first fight, Gonzalez refused to adapt even though body shots hurt SSR in their first fight, he continued to hit he head and achieve nothing and lose the decision, now he just got brutally KO'dWhy didn't he adapt?
As a #1 P4P fighter you have to be able to adapt if something isn't working.
He lost because his ring IQ failed him. And yes he did tried throwing a lot of punches, it's just that Rungvisai was also throwing with him and his punches were hurting him, and he wasn't hurting Rungvisai, which made him reluctant. Hence the last resort being complaints about headbutts, that were non-factors, it was just him trying to cope with the fact that he was being outfought and didn't have a plan B.Comment

Okay, move along then, but other posters seem to agree that RG could not adapt

I don't know what I think about it yet or if I agree but if I had to see him losing tonight it wouldn't have been like that. I just saw it and that was really bad. I wonder if he can get back down to flyweight or if it will matter at this point. I don't like to be the guy to write 'em off when they can't beat somebody, but I definitely don't like what I saw from him tonight.Comment

He tried teeing off against someone with a bigger cannon, you don't always fight fire with fire. Especially early in the fight, put in some work to the body, take away the pop and then work on bringing the head down. His opponent did all of that within 4 rounds.Comment

Gonzalez has not good defense.
He does not know how to fight with movements and skills.
He is a donkey with good offensive skills and stamina.Comment
