G made the right choice though. Immediately say no to Ward, and face tomato cans until some one more than just an opponent is mandatory and cash in. Look at Kov, he is done, completely broken. And he is two divisions bigger than G. Now G gets his payday against the only big name he has a real chance to beat. Still would put money on Canelo, but G played his hand right. Why not take fights for a mill a piece against guys like Wade and Rubio and Nelson?

This should be a good fight, but there is no way to compare this to Hagler-Hearns and those great fights of that era. Hearns lost to Leonard in a classic, which in todays 12 round era he probably would have won. Canelo got humiliated by Mayweather. Canelo was swinging at air and eating right hands the whole fight. It was literally a boxing clinic. Canelo is a very good fighter, and so is G. Hearns and Hagler are all-time greats, true legends of the sport. There is no comparison.

Some people will be surprised when CANELO
Bullies Golovkin & walks him down landing tremendous fast accurate power shots.

Golovkin's head will be getting popped up like a PEZ dispenser hahaha.

So the cotto fight was not impressive or was cotto old. To say he hasn't look better since Floyd is kinda disrespectful. Just my opinion. I respect yours.

He was a gazillion times better vs. Lara than vs. Floyd. He learned a lot from facing a super-cowardly and tricky "defensive" fighter such as Floyd. He learned that it was 100% ****** to try and box the boxer-trickster, try to outrun the runner, try to outjab the jabber, try to out face-punch the face-puncher.

He realized, pretty soon, that Lara is stylistically very similar to Floyd in that he is a cowardly fighter as well (although not even close as tricky and a cheater), so he decided not to try and outbox the boxer.

He decided to take tons of blatant jabs to his face, but trade all those for lots of brutal body punches that the idiot did not EVEN TRY to land on Floyd at all, because he was too busy looking pathetic trying to hit him in the face, which is almost an impossible feat, except for truly gifted and super-fast fighters such as past Manny, who did hit Floyd in the face time and time again --but the sold-out judges did not do justice to this in the scorecards, neither did those clowns at Compubox.

A similar thing happened to Canelo vs. Cotto. Instead of going to try and box him, which he realized he wouldn't be able to do that, same case as Lara and Floyd, he went for picking his spots and saving his energy, throwing lots of brutal power punches which only god knows why Cotto wasn't knocked down by, because those bunches of punches that Canelo connected on Cotto and stunned him real bad several times, should have KD Cotto more than once, but he showed a tremendous chin, and he was lucky as well that Canelo has a similar issue as GGG: he has very limited stamina and cannot go all the way, throwing punches non-stop until he finishes off his opponent, because his fuel tank empties pretty quickly. That is the reason why he didn't KO Cotto, simple as that, because he didn't have the stamina to complete the task when he stunned him real bad, which happened no less than three times during that fight.

Bottom line, the Canelo that fought Lara and Cotto would have done WAY BETTER vs. Floyd than the inexperienced and naive --and drained to boot-- one that floyd was so smart to choose to fight.

But, is this Canelo enough to defeat GGG? I don't think so. Canelo has never ever faced anyone that hits harder than him so far. And he has never ever faced anyone who hits jabs as precisely and as powerfully as actual power punches. He has never faced anyone who is actually physically stronger than him and is an expert at cutting off the ring and putting pressure all the time on his opponent.

Just as he lacked the necessary experience to fight a cowardly defensive trickster as when he did fight Floyd, he doesn't have the experience to fight somebody like GGG. I predict his 2nd loss, this time by KO, or, if they go the distance, a robbery decision in favor of Canelo, after being KD at least once.
            Are you ok bud????

I'm thinking the same thing. I really see Ggg getting bullied and stopped late but he'll have his moments. People act like nelo is just a sitting duck for Ggg. Ggg eats hard counters and nelo will be looking to slip his jab with upper cuts as he's walking in early in the fight. Once he 👀 nelo ain't afraid to trade and isn't going anywhere...........

I think Cotto had seen better days yes. I think the Canelo of the Floyd fight still beats Cotto. I'm not saying he doesn't look impressive lately, I'm just not sure if it's because of a real improvement, or because everyone since hasn't been Floyd.

Great analysis , I see what you see. CANELO looks to be in tremendous shape for this fight, he's a true middleweight now. Two back to back training camps preparing to fight bigger fighter's will also benifit him. Golovkin will have his moments at times but not enough to win the rounds or fight. CANELO will time his jab , make it miss then counter with uppercuts & straight rights and left hooks to the body.

When Golovkin pressures CANELO, CANELO will display more defensive skills , to get oit of danger while Golovkin will just shell up and get hit with counter punches and combinations to the body & head.

I think this fight will be a great fight , an all action packed war. Hope you & your company enjoy this Epic Event.
