There is no negotiating when it comes to a purse bid...and they had to agree to terms 15 days after the Khan fight or a purse bid would be ordered. That simple.

But the purse bid only determines the base salary of the fighter and who promotes the event (determines the date and site of the fight). Everything else still needs to be negotiated including PPV splits if the fight is to be PPV.

Whoever wins the purse bid keeps all the money you tard. The fighters get their split of the winning bid, that's all. Purse bids are also open to any promoter not just the 2 fighters promoters.

If they can't come to an agreement on the fight or to extend negotiations with the sanctioning bodies approval then the fight goes to a purse bid in which anyone has the opportunity to bid on the fight. The winning bidder gets to promote the fight with the funds from the purse bid being split between the two fighters according to the rules established by the sanctioning body. The winning bidder then promotes the fight.
