Not true at all. The fight was offered to you before the Jacobs fight for 10mil but you guys refused. Plus there was no way you could KO Jacobs. No excuses.....

    hahaha LMAO

They gave him something they knew he would turn down so they could try and save face because the world saw Canelo call GGG into the ring, challenge him and then give up the belt without a fight.
      .
that is like saying Mayweather knew that Pacquiao would refuse the blood tests

      what utter nonsense

FACT: Golovkin could have taken the 10mil

he could also have decided to be a man of his word and negotiate on weight

This is the direct quote and context of what Trip said.

"I am not Julio César Chȧvez, Jr. and Canelo is no Danny Jacobs. *There are no survivors in my fights. Boxing is a business. *If I look great against Jacobs…if I knocked him out, *I would not be getting this fight with Canelo now. *Jacobs was a very good fighter and gave me good learning experience going 12 rounds. *I have never done that before. *I felt amazing going 12 rounds for the first time. *Jacobs gives everyone problems." *

To me...when he says boxing is a business and then mentions Jacobs, it indicates that not knocking out Jacobs was a business decision.

I think he wanted the KO...couldn't get it, but reconciles not getting by saying that it helped him get Alvarez in the ring for the payday.

          this debate is ******ed

          Golovkin said this.....

Golovkin Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154.....
          http://thaboxingvoice.com/golovkin-a...4/15398?var=no

then, he flip-flopped..... and totally refused to negotiate on weight

          anyone know why ?

listen, you guys can choose to ignore that fact all you like

but that flip-flop happened for a reason

and no, that reason has not suddenly disappeared..... it just got a little bigger

it is good that Canelo is making the IBF weighin, that should guarantee he doesn't put on too much water

But this is all deflection. The fact is there was an offer there before Golovkin fought Jacobs. If Golovkin would have accepted the fight would have still happened regardless of if he had KO'd Jacobs or not.

            and there it is

Truth is .. you have to find a reason to shit on GGG for every damn thing he says or does, and if you can't find a reason, you just pull one out of your arse.

nah, the lies and ducking are sufficient

                You're a ******ed liar.

yep, I encounter that problem daily with him

Since when is a promoter obligated to share ppv revenue with either fighter after winning a purse bid. Emphasis on the word purse. There is a reason why fights on ppv avoid purse bids.

If Alvarez wins they will still claim he rehydrated 30 pounds.

fair point, you could actually be right there

                      not phrased very well though

and Sanchez explanation is perfect english was no better

he actually insinuated the same thing

half the time I think Golovkin just echoes Abels bullshht to be loyal

I don't think Golovkin is specifically saying that he carried Jacobs, but not 100% convinced that he is not leaving that assumption out there either
