Seconded. Canelo isn't Jacobs - doesn't fight anything like him. There is nothing Canelo can use from Jacobs' skill-set as he doesn't have it.

Canelo has his own tools and will have to win in a different way. First part of the fight will be Canelo on speed, second part he will gas and will be a long hard slog for him to get to the finish line.

Only thing I hope is no controversy either way.

Forgot about that. But still no one thought Oscar was losing by decision. He was the GoldenBoy

Canellas main flaw foot speed was Jacobs main attribute. Totally different styles styles make fights Canella eventually will have to keep ggg off him that is the fights answer can he

I hate the word "exposed". Golovkins always had flaws but no one had the skills to take advantage of it. Jacobs' game plan was solid and he executed it well a majority of the fight. Whenever he deviated, Golovkins capitalized on it, dropped, and won rounds in between.

Paul Williams kept his hands low his entire career. It took Sergio Martinez 14 rounds to time him right and put him to sleep. Lara built on that and caught him repeatedly.

If Canelo can build on what Jacobs did he can and will win the fight. If not he'll have to come up with his own game plan to get a victory.

              Use common sense.
I see. So there's an excuse for every fighter picking Canelo.

He doesn't have to fight like Jacobs to take advantage of weaknesses or tendencies that Jacobs exposed. He can use his own methods. Brook didn't have Jacobs size and he found pockets of success.

People try too hard to simplify boxing.

lol can people please actually rewatch the fight before spouting nonsense about jacobs exposing ggg. ggg won that fight clearly, droped him and outlanded him in 8 rounds, stfu with your whining. i noticed it with pacquiao v horn, people dont seem to be able to distinguish between punches being caught on the gloves and punches landing. they just see punches thrown that arent missing by a mile and think'wow hes lighting the other guy up'. They also give the underdog too much credit for not doing as bad as expected. fact is there wasnt a lot of solid clean shots landed by jacobs. i know that hurts people todeal with that fact but its the truth.

No, I just don't value the opinion of someone who claims other fighters have illegal gloves just because he lost to them.

I think Canelo often leans back too far to avoid punches. If a fighter could feint him into that posture they could make a step in and tee off on him.
