Exactly. All of that happened over a decade ago!

Hey oscar your only 4 years older than Floyd. So shut the fuck up and back up your talk. Mcgregor would sign to fight you in a heart beat and it would sell crazy ppvs. Don't talk about what you can or cant do in the ring if you ain't bout that life. Stick to promoting fights, dressing up like a crack whore and doing lines of coke. Stay in your lane.

Oscar from 1999 would literally kill Mac in the ring and I do mean kill. Mac can't take those lefts, he cant hold out against that size, he cant deal with those skills. Mac dies in 3.

He was as brave as he was dangerous.
He fought the best, and he didn't need to let fights marinate.
He didn't need to negotiate for a year. Quartey, Trinidad, and Mosley were all dangerous guys that he could have avoided.

I agree with the sentiment in this post

            how quickly they forget

but I do not agree that Hoya could beat McGregor today

Hoya would have no punch resistance, no timing, and would gas quicker than McGregor

Hoya is a legend, but 10 years away from the sport, coupled with Oscar's fondness for alcohol/etc..... nope

even given time to prepare he would struggle

            dat left hook doe..... ?????

            ok, not sure actually

Hoya would either stop Mac early, like he said..... or he would get dished up like he did against Pacquiao.....

Very true he was for real, he gets hated on a lot for his promoter ways and personal life but that's just typical of haters which is BS anyway but there is no denying he was a hell of a fighter.

Have you seen any photos of him recently? He's looking as rough as sandpaper! Put it this way, Mayweather hasn't aged a lot and looks almost identical to how he did 7-8-10 years ago only major difference is physically he's not as muscular as he was back then. Oscar looks totally different. He looked great for most of his career, I guess he's just one of those guys who needed boxing and now after it's over he's bored and not enjoying life nearly as much. Sugar Ray Leonard went through that too. His promotional company has got worse too since getting rid of Schaefer.

                    Now

Not getting on him but he looked great back then and now every photo I see of him he's looking rough and worse for wear. Hopefully he's not still having issues. I'm not a fan of him but he did give a lot of entertaining fights to the sport and fans.

The only difference I really see is that he has greyed (facial hair and hair on head) but that's to be expected as we all age and get older.
