That statement from ODLH is far from delusional, imo even that "rehab" version of DLH will stop connor McQuitter and by KO

You mention Stevie Forbes as if he was supposed to get stopped by cab drivers, he fought 49 professional bouts and was stopped once albeit on the last round of that fight. I agree in that Oscar talks like he's drug binging again but Stevie Forbes was no chump.Comment

I really do believe even right now he could KO conor quick. De la Hoya has a special natural fighting ability and crazy speed and power. Styles make fights and you either have it or you don't and DLH could just rip the bag like floyd and conor never could even recently in a vid he posted. He would also weigh as muvh as conor and have a height advantage same reachComment

Oscar is probably correct, and he was a better fighter all-round than Mayweather in his prime. He would have been all over Floyd in an even more impressive manner if they had fought a few years earlier than they did. By design and/ or good fortune, look at when Mayweather actually fought Pacquaio, De La Hoya, Mosley, and Cotto. Didn't fight Williams and Margarito. So, maybe barely scratches top 30 of all time. That's not to throw shade on his sublime defensive skills comparable to Willie Pep and Pernell Whitaker, and the record high career earnings, but an assessment of his level of greatness compared to the true best, eg. 'Sugar' Ray Robinson, and those who had over 100 to 200 wins.Last edited by Liondw; 09-08-2017, 04:47 AM.Comment

Any real boxing fans knows mayweather carried him. And Oscar is right ,cause it $99.00 on PPV and Floyd didn't want the same controversy as the Pac fight.Comment
