A prime Martinez against Floyd at 154 would be a TREMENDOUS fight. Martinez by TKO in 9-12...the accumulation of punches and the range would leave Floyd shook and mentally beaten.

Here's the thing about Floyd, if he didn't fight and whoop you, he certainly did whoop someone who whooped you.
Martinez could barely walk into the ring on fight night, had TWO knee braces on and extra long shorts to cover them up....GTFOH.

Prime Martinez drew with Kermit Cintron at 154, yeah, that guys not hanging with Floyd at any point, period.

How many good wins did he have in his career? 4? Maybe 5?

Not a big puncher, but a boxer and he's going to beat Mayweather? Not a chance!

I liked Martinez and he was very good for a few years but let's be real he didn't have enough in his game to beat Floyd and was also 2 weight classes bigger anyways. What's next? Let me guess - Andre Ward, Anthony Joshua and The Klitsckos would've beat Floyd too right? Just stop it it's getting ridiculous he's 50-0 get over it.
But Martinez was never a true MW he just moved up cuz he was being ducked by everyone at 154. Cotto beating Martinez holds as much weight as Berbick beating Ali.

I dont get why Floyd has to fight all these bigger guys for ya'll to say he would lose...I mean he fought several world champs..moved up 4 divisions and came out undefeated...Why are ya'll so angry about that?
