    164-166.

Abel to Loeffler: "Don't worry, I got this! Nobody will sense something suspect with a 164 or 166, and fans will always doubt if it's true like when comic characters die."

Fanboys don't recognise sarcasm, my frothy friend.

They just see something resembling sarcasm, and get triggered instantaneously.

How you doing by the way? You okay?

Of course Golovkin couldn't go up to 168 at that time though. After he just demanded 164 for Ward.
If you really believe the Froch-GGG didn't happen because of Golovkin, you must be new to boxing. You obviously weren't around in 2014/2015 when Froch flirted publically with the idea of fighting Golovkin and finally said he will not entertain the fight. He never mentioned the weight in a single interview back then.

Didn't see any of the GGG haters complaining when Ward took on Paul Smith at a 172 catch weight. We're talking Paul "never-heard-of-him" Smith.

Now, 3 years later, he suddenly talks about weight being the reason that fight fell through. I think it's laughable. He just can't stand fans still put the blame on him. He should have never entertained that fight back then, because he was never serious about it.
              Correct.

But Froch ego won't let him say he didn't want that fight at that time.

The article is 2015. There's an interview with Froch and Loeffler from 2015 where Froch is asking about the weight saying he can't make 168 and asked to meet Loeffler/Golovkin at the Fury-Wlad fight to discuss it. They never showed. GTFOH. ******.
