Hurd style tends to allow other boxers to connect their punches.
if Trout is able to box like Harrison did, I see him winning by decision but it wont be easy because Hurd will go after him.

If Trout trains for the Hurd that fought Harrison then he's gonna be in for a big surprise.

Hurd is not a pressure fighter, he's a boxer puncher with great timing, athleticism, and counter punching technique.

He fought the way he did against Harrison for the same reason Floyd the way he did against McGregor. He was up against a guy with stamina and chin issues and decided to pressure him throughout the fight so that he can drown him in the latter stages of the fight, which he did to perfection.

Harrison is a brilliant boxer with incredible athleticism and skill too, so Hurd was bound to eat a lot of leather with the style he chose, that doesn't mean he's fight the same style against Trout, in fact the Harrison fight is the only time I ever saw him fight like a pressure fighter/stalker/brawler. It just shows you that this guy has many dimensions to his game.

My prediction is that Trout survives the twelve rounds but gets dropped 2 or 3 times with punches he didn't see coming.

I they were good odds i would definitely consider a bet on Trout.

Hurd looked pretty clumsy fighting a southpaw with movement. And Trout wouldnt fade like Harrison did.

Hurd is 6'1". This could be like the Charlo fight all over again.

I'm in the minority here. I like trout to pull out the W. He's skilled, tough, battle tested, and a big step up in class. Hurd gets compared to jermall alot because of their similar size, but i think Charlo is more skilled and hits harder.

I think people are now underestimating Hurd because of the Harrison fight. Wouldn't be shocked if he bounces back and look impressive in this one even though I like Trout and know he will bring it

Was at the Hurd/Harrison fight. I like Hurd, think he's got some skill, but Harrison was outboxing him for the first half of the fight and I hold Trout in higher regard. Think Trout wins by decision

Hurd has no where near the footwork, reflexes, or speed of Charlo. Unless Trout gets too confident and underestimates his power, Austin should take this without too much trouble. Hurd is a mess and highly overrated.
