[QUOTE=BLOODSHED]YES. And I think most people would rather see Wlad fight Brewster instead of Toney.

It would be the first time in his 10 + year career where he has given a rematch with someone that's beaten him.
    /QUOTE]

Again, if Brewster would have WON his last fight, I'd completely agree with you hands down. Toney is the biggest available name at HW, bottom line. Brewster lost his last fight and suffered a detached retina, he may never fight again. If Brewster is forced to retire, will you still call Wlad a ***** for not pursuing Brewster?

For a little middleweight, he's doing pretty damn good against these heavyweights, He's still undefeated in HW division. I agree he's past his prime, but still many of heavyweights don't wont to fight this fat little middleweight, Peter turned him down.

Truly, what does that say about the boxer, his fans and his team if he NEVER fights people that beat him in the ring? Mental midget boxer with a protectionist team and ****** rabid fans. That pretty much sums up the Klitschkos and Co.

you said that same **** 10 minutes ago...please stop and formulate another opinion...one that people care about.

Gunstar, I admit that the price may be a bit low, but Wlad isn't affraid. We all know fighters camps go through this process every time there is a title match. It will get worked out hopefully. I can hear Toney now..."Who is Klitchko...he is as great as James Toney...James Toney devserve the bigger share of money...James Toney is a future hall of famer...James Toney blah blah blah..."

Even though Brewster lost his last fight, he would still be a worthy and interesting opponent for Wald if/when he recovers.

I wouldn't want to see James fight Wlad if he weighed anything more than 230. He just wouldn't give himself a good enough chance if he weighed anything higher.

It truly means little in the grand scheme of things. Brewster might have lost his last fight (which I think he will win the rematch), but he is a true heavyweight with heavyweight power that has the ability to knock people out at any moment. Can't say the same thing for Toney, in fact he struggled with Rahman. What would make you want to see Toney who just struggled with Rahman fight Wlad? SERIOUSLY?

Saying that, and knowing that Toney can't hurt Wlad, why would anyone want to see Toney-Wlad?

Toney will be very ****** to weight over 230 again, he doesn't have too many years left, he better be around 220 in every other fight of his career.

Do you understand what a detached retina is and do you know how many careers that particular injury has taken? He may not come back...he was a great puncher but not much else

Toney is the draw, and he's available. Brewster is seriously injured, and not. Toney is a draw because of his past accomplishments and name. Like I said, most boxing experts will likely expect Wlad to massacre Toney, but it will draw the most public attention, as far as available opponents for Wlad are concerned. I know Wlad will massacre Toney, and I dont want to see it necessarily, because I'm a fan of Toney. I also dont want to hear this "true heavyweight" nonsense. Toney stepped up to heavy to challenge the big boys. Wlad should NOT be scrutinized for accepting Toney's move up to challenge in a heavier weight class.

He looked comfortable for the Ruiz fight. It's hard to know what he should weigh because he says that he's always at a comfortable fighting weight, but that clearly wasn't true against Rahman.

I think 225-230 is the best we could see him at this point in his career. I just wish he could always look like he did against Holyfield. He was very strong and fluid at that weight (220?).
