It's no difference here, except Wlad's fans are pathetic. They're the only fans (maybe Mayweather nuthuggers too) that don't really care who their favorite fighter fights.

    That's sad.
Wlad also has unfinished business with Purrity and Sanders, but they're semi or completely retired, you'd rather have Wlad fight someone he lost to, no matter that the man(Brewster) lost his last fight? You mentioned Brock and Briggs, why are you not debating my rebuttle as to why Wlad isnt fighting them? Bottom line is, the other belt holders are busy, and Wlad's going for the fight that will UNDOUBTEDLY draw the most fans.

he doesn't care...he absolutely doesn't care what you have to say about Wlad that may be a good point. He is a hater of a particular boxer and nothing can change his narrow mind.

You know very well that Toney doesn't duck anyone. The 1.5 offer is a joke & you know it.

some of you guys need to realize that if toney got 1.5 mill, that he'd probably end up with less than 800k. after taxes, trainer fees, corner men, sparring partners, other bull**** fees, a big chunk would be taken out.

He can make more then that fighting Rahman the second time, this is the fight most people wants to see, this is biggest fight you can have in HW division, the 1.5 offer is just wrong. It clearly tells me that Wlad's people don't really want this fight. Minimum offer should be 3 to 4 mil.

YES. And I think most people would rather see Wlad fight Brewster instead of Toney.

It would be the first time in his 10 + year career where he has given a rematch with someone that's beaten him.

Truly, what does that say about the boxer, his fans and his team if he NEVER fights people that beat him in the ring? Mental midget boxer with a protectionist team and ****** rabid fans. That pretty much sums up the Klitschkos and Co.

You were hyping Peter before the Wlad fight and now that he's demanding a rematch, you and other pathetic people are saying he isn't worthy.

What made him worthy to begin with.
Peter is a wrecking ball, only loss is to Wlad, everyone he has destroyed. Wlad is the #1 HW in the world, and Peter even put him down once late. And Peter withstood immense punishment and up until mid-way through the 12th he still had a chance for a KO if he landed his perfect punch. A HW with a granite chin and deadly KO power is always going to be a player in any division in any era. Period.

Now, if Peter wants a rematch, then he needs to get a title. Wlad wants to unify. He wanted to fight Toney, so he could beat him, and get him out of the picture so HE could fight the Rahman/Maskaev winner in a unification. Instead Toney wants to wait and fight that winner since his fatass got a gift draw by some act of god, and knows he has a better chance at fighting one of them rather than Wlad. Then he could defend the WBC if he won, etc. Toney is unconfident in his ability to win, that's all. I don't blame him necessarily.

As for Peter, he is at the level where he can easily target the WBA's or WBO's contender list and move up to the top of their rankings and become a mandatory. And if he gets a belt, then he can get a rematch with Wlad, no questions asked and easy non-Don King negotiations. It may take a year, but when you're young and you get your big shot and lose, then you have to work your way back up. He's an exciting fighter and a name- if he faces ranked fighters and wins there's no way he shouldn't have a title shot within a year. Wlad's first defense is going to be the winner of Sultan/Austin, anyway. Then he'll have almost a year to pursue another belt.

toney doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed by any means, but he isn't so ****** to take a fight agaisnt a guy who has a serious chance at ending his career or at least his contention for a title for only 1.5 million in which he'd probably get a bit more than half after taxes and fees if he's lucky. the only way i see toney taking a fight against klitchko is if he's getting around 4-5 million. now wether or no he deserves that amount is a different thing.
