We still down for that $500 if Canelo make it to round 10??? I originally said $1K and finishes 9 rounds but whatever... Actually | said he MAKES it to Round 10 and you said he FINISHES round 10 after the fact.

The fights getting really close and just checking???

Offer still stands $1K MAKES it past round 9.

$500 makes it past Round 10.

    Pick one.

Horse****. No chance Canelo runs out there and starts slugging with Golovkin. He's going to try and use Cotto's playbook for the first Margarito fight.

Oscar needs to shut up with his comparisons. He's a damn jinx. He said cotto vs canelo would be like Sanchez vs Gomez, it wasn't. He said canelo vs Chavez jr would be like morales vs barrera, not even close. Now he says this. Ggg and Canelo may be the beat middleweights today but neither can hold a torch to the careers of Hagler and hearns. Just sit down fishnets and let the fight play out as it will.

Its hard for me to predict a winner, at first when this fight was made I was picking Canelo clearly but in a good fight, now I still slightly favor canelo but after rewatching the Jacobs fight it was his length and movement which bothered GGG. Canelo is flat footed though and is not bigger, so GGG could look better against Canelo, although Canelo will counter him with bombs when Golovkin is pressuring so its tough to say, but should be a hell of a matchup!

Hagler Hearns was short and fun, but wild and sloppy too. I don't think Hagler was ever badly hurt like commentators say. Both missed wildly a lot, which causes the anticipation. Still Hearns faded fast. But I always knew the outcome. Sigh.

Won't be anywhere near that great. Oscar getting desperate already.

Canelo gotta be like Hopkins was vs Tito, and use lateral movement and jab to neautralize ggg's forward attack. Don't get caught up in a bunch of exchanges, and canelo needs to get off first a lot, and then step off, racking up points. He starts trading with ggg, he gets blasted out
I tend to agree with you, but when it comes to boxing things aren't always as they seem. GGG has to watch out for Canelo's power too. I think Canelo has improved so much over the last few years. Chavez didn't seem to be very confident in dealing with Canelo's speed and power and he's never been a guy to shy away from big punchers (Andy Lee, Andrew Fonfara). I guess what I'm saying is, Canelo has plenty of power. Canelo will have to be careful but GGG will have to be also. I'm sure he's smart enough to respect that.

I'm hoping Golovkin wins this fight.

I was cheering for Hearns. That fight was really exciting at the time, but you're right, it wasn't a very technical fight. Both guys were fighting like wild cavemen..,especially Hearns. In hindsight I'm not sure if it was as great of a fight as I remember. It could have been better had it lasted another 4 or 5 brutal rounds. It was too short.
