Fishnet and high heel-wearing Cokehead is trying to sell this fight because it's not even going to hit 1.5 million...

Canelo gotta be like Hopkins was vs Tito, and use lateral movement and jab to neautralize ggg's forward attack. Don't get caught up in a bunch of exchanges, and canelo needs to get off first a lot, and then step off, racking up points. He starts trading with ggg, he gets blasted out
IDK man, I think GGG likes for guys to move. I think Canelo needs to stand his ground like the battle of Puebla and bring out his inner Sweet Pea Whittaker, keep it center, get off first, smother, head movement, head movement, and more head movement. I think Canelo will win due to the handspeed difference. GGG punches about as fast as 2 old people F...

He doesn't have to sell this fight. Anybody who has seen these two guys fights knows it will be a FiGHT not a run decision like that Mayweather garbage

Just like Canelo and Chavez was supoose tobe right?

I know Chavez isnt GGG but still. Plus Canelo would be a fool to try that. His best option is to out box him and movement like Jacobs and try to catch him with something later after he tires.

Jacob showed that GGG powers doesnt last in the later rounds. Canelo by descision tho. No HaglerHearns.

I agree. I think Canelo is the smarter fighter with more tools & if he doesn't use that its GGG's fight to win.

Sh^t man Floyd laughs at alot of guys handspeed so that don't mean much.

And Cotto is faster than GGG I feel like.

GGG is almost methodical in his movements. I definitely think Canelo is the quicker guy.

I still say Canelo's elusiveness & counterpunching will be the deciding factor in this fight. GGG will be holding back punches he'll get so worried about being hit & scored upon in the mid to late rounds I feel like & thats when Canelo can really start pulling away if thats how things go.

This is the way I see it as well. Trip does not like to be countered and much like Manny...looks to get out of the pocket once he gets hit with a shot. Alvarez doesn't need fast feet...just smart feet that follow when Trip backs out and either smothers or side steps when he gets hit. It wasn't Jacobs size that bothered him, it was his counter punching and ability to time him.

Also...why do folks figure Alvarez will tire but Trip won't?

I actually think the closer Canelo stays in the better, if he tries moving he gives GGG the forward momentum and will allow GGG to lead with his longer jab. Canelo needs to fight in the pocket and use his superior hand speed and combination punching and upperbody movement.
