That flat fee was 5x more than Golovkin ever earned. Golovkin fans said De La Hoya and Canelo were lying about it because you couldn't believe Golovkin would turn it down. Then when you found out it was real you tards flip flopped and said Golovkin deserved a split.

You keep lying. The bolded part is just plain bull**** made up by you.
And we always said this deserved a split... anyone with a brain knew it.

        Bull****?

I think not. That thread is full of Golovtards calling De La Hoya a liar.

Only special fighters are on that list. Mayweather did some of his best work at 34,35,36.

Golovkin is the same. Takes care of his body and is a special fighter. And Golovkin's style relies much less on speed and reflexes than Mayweather.

C- trolling. Everyone who's being fair to GGG can see he's big fights f#cked up with about a half dozen names over the years & Canelo himself has been avoiding via Oscar's fear & lack of confidence in Canelo I'd assume for the last 18mos or so. Cotto & &/or his team didn't want any part of GGG before that. Sergio &/or his team didn't want any part of GGG before that.

Be reasonable or troll better brother.

If you believe that good for you. But the point still stands. He hasn't fought A level comp. It's expected for a fighter not to look as good when he steps up competition. Golovkin is only now stepping up so you can't blame age, because we simply don't know.

Idk about that. I think Floyd was a beast when he was younger, but sadly he didn't get the names when he was at his best. As a Floyd fan I remember when Floyd was calling out Oscar & Shane when he was at 135 ffs & had no reason to pay him any mind. And the hand injuries for Floyd specifically make it virtually impossible for us to have seen Floyd at his absolute best at an older age.

I don't think mother nature cares if you do yoga & rest in salt water every night. Idk that not getting beat up extends you THAT much. I think taking beatings might end you earlier. I mean Ray Mancini never won a fight past the age of 22. And plenty of guys never won a major fight in their early 30's. So 35 is giving some years to most guys that they never actually got.

Yes, bull****. One day they said 10 millions, one month later it was 15 millions. Then Canelo wasn't a real middleweight and would move down to his natural weight...

Now FINALLY they offered a PPV split which was the only way to make the fight. They had the biggest fight in boxing last year and they lost it because they were offering a flat fee.

Biggest fight in boxing != flat fee.

And then you have the GBP vice president saying Canelo wasn't ready for Golovkin last year.

What else fool? what else? you lose big this discussion, in many ways.

Golovkin himself said it wasn't true:

I didn't expect that Smith punched so hard and that Canelo would talk that nonsense after the fight

Danny Jacobs was number 3 or 4 in the division. Thats not a valid opponent? Or are you one of those cats who think 4 guys deserve to be in the top 10?

Eh whatever doe I'll just agree to disagree with you cuz this conversation is going nowhere fast if you don't think much of GGG's opposition. The guy has one of the best resumes at 160 today. If GGG ain't sh^t virtually no one at 160 or in any division is sh^t. And as a boxing fan I just don't see that nor agree with that.

Include Saunders, and Eubank Jr to those names. Sturm too. I think you can list 10 top mw's that avoided him when he was 28-33 years old.
