Lol, I don't think this man realizes GGG jab> Canelo jab. GGG will keep him at a distance with his jab and dictate the pace of the fight.

I don't think Canelo has a better jab than GGG.

Also, he doesn't have the footwork to move and stay out of range all night, he's too flat footed. If Canelo moves with his heavy feet, GGG will cut the ring off very easily on him and as good as Canelo's upper body movement is, he will still be right in front of GGG and i don't think he can stand in front of GGG all night and beat him either. Canelo's defence is good but it's not like Floyd or someone, he'll still take shots.

As much as a stylistic nightmare someone like Floyd or Lara was for Canelo, i think GGG is all wrong for him too and Golden Boy know it which is why they kept delaying until they had nowhere left to run.

Ok so maybe not great but it's good because it's set up his other combos/punches opponents usually don't see coming. And GGG jab looked good but is that because most of his opponents??

He's clearly saying that Canelo has to stay away from GGG. That's not going to happen. GGG will stop him. Too small and arms are too short. The combination of power and hand speed isn't enough here.

He'll start out moving well on the outside. Then get frustrated after eating too many jabs early. Then he'll settle in to get off sharper punches and that's where he'll **** up and get caught exchanging. If he goes the distance, he'll get a lot of credit from me.

Canelo doesn't move nearly as good as people in this thread are assuming/claiming. And he's not 6'1 with a longer reach (like Jacobs). This fight isn't going to be nearly as competitive as pundits claim. I think many are banking on GGG looking old or something lol

... but!!! Mayweather Sr is quoted as saying: "I think Canelo can beat him if he uses his jab a lot and he just moves around and makes sure he stays at a distance from him."...

              ... the "if" is important...

I stopped reading right there because those aren't things Canelo does.

Hooking off the jab is actually a very good idea. Canelo has the faster hands to pull it off.

The only thing is that he has slow footwork as others have already pointed out. That sort of puts a dent in that game plan.

And I think he tried to put on muscle for this fight so that will make him less mobile as well.

What Floyd Sr means is that Canelo could beat GGG easily if he was a 160lb version of Floyd Jr.

He got very good 1-2 foot movement. Just the 3,4,5 is where he's not good. 1-2 is all he'll really need to pull off the hook, jab. Boxing is a game of inches.

That's why they fight! A LOT of ppl think Canelo is going to win and a LOT thinks GGG... Both sides can't be right (Unless it's a draw). I already put $$$$ Down that Canelo makes it past 9 rounds. Even got a bet with an idiot that Canelo make it past 6.
