Liddell is exactly right. But when he added "street fight", he forgot that a street fight has no rules. Boxing and MMA do.

These MMA guys are in such denial. A well delivered punch is universal no matter what kind of combat sport you're in. I see these top MMA guys throwing wide sweeping hooks with their elbows up in the air and the kind of overhand rights that would get you clipped in a boxing ring. For the life of me I can't understand why they are so reluctant to learn the craft properly.

The Romans did every combination of fights in the colliseums. All the animals of Africa. Kicks and chokes have been around since man, yet we decided that punching was what mattered for over last hundred years. Who the hell would rather be the best kicker or grappler instead of best puncher? U make huge money if u can punch, so if u have to kick and grapple ur taking a pay cut cause ur no good at what matters gets u paid.

hahaha we'll see. UFC is on a pace to eventually take over.

Intelligence??? MMA guys have to worry about more forms of attack. This is why they don't just focus on striking.

MMA is a more realistic form of combat.

          I love boxing , though.

Humbleness is gone from the UFC. Everybody is Chanel Sonnen Jr now. Everybody talks in this cryptic code. Boxers shouldn't go to the UFC because the fans won't support them.

Liddell the puncher, couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag. He means he wants to lay and pray in a barroom brawl.

I was a UFC fan around 2007-2010 but it's gone downhill a lot since then and Dana has stopped saying "were taking over boxing!" and all that mess. It is an interesting sport to watch but it's basically only Conor who you'd pay to see fight, they don't have any other stars or big names besides Jon Jones who's got a lot of problems going on. They don't produce stars/great talent like boxing does.

By intelligence I mean that boxers are just a lot more refined and smart than MMA fighters. Don't get me wrong there are some very skilled MMA fighters but there's also some who basically fight like dumb street fighters and it's crazy how so many of them leave their hands down and get knocked out, like seriously?

I was a big MMA fan at one point but as of right now it's not something I give much attention to. The sport's just not what it used to be and Dana and the UFC have shot themselves in the foot by focusing more on entertainment than on competition. They had a card about 2 months ago and I correctly predicted every outcome of like 8 bouts. Which is why their non-Conor PPV's do badly.

LOL ironically Chael was like the only MMA guy who gave credit to Mayweather and predicted it was going to be an ass-whooping from the get-go. Chuck's always been bitter about boxing and Mayweather. He is/was probably just upset that he was the biggest star in the UFC and making 500K per fight while Mayweather was making 30-40 million and now hundreds of millions which blows all UFC fighters put together out of the water. Floyd has more than all of them put together.
